We make sure all faculty who are assigned to teach in an online
environment go through a 4 week Online Instructor Training Program. It's
actually an online course itself, hosted in Moodle. The faculty have
several inquiry based, and reflective assignments with the expectation
of applying best practices in their online courses. Their assignments
are evaluated by an online instructor with a degree in online learning
administration. All faculty are required to complete the course prior
to teaching online.

Here is my question: How many of the ACCESS institutions has a faculty
orientation class, what does it "look" like, and how does that fit into
the requirements to teach in your online program?
